Come along to a foraging course in Worthing, Chichester, Arundel, Littlehampton, Hove, Brighton & other Sussex locations to learn about the wonders of wild food. As of 2023 we'll also be running some workshops in Hampshire and the New Forest. You'll discover what edible ingredients can be found right on your doorstep, how to safely and sustainably harvest them and of course, see just how tasty they can be!

We hold regular Foraging courses in Sussex throughout the year. Sussex is an incredible place for wild food and we're lucky to be surrounded by some of the most flavoursome, exciting ingredients. Being from Sussex and having been absorbed in local folklore throughout her childhood, Ferns foraging walks often include an element of folklore: whether it be local tales and legends or old local methods for using the native plants that surround us.

Some of our events will be run in collaboration with incredible wild food chefs and fellow forest school teachers. If you need any more information, or you're interested in collaborating, contact Fern here
