WINTER foraging events

Foraging in winter will mainly focus on wild foods that can be found buried in the earth. In winter the energies of the plants around us delve down underground to protect themselves from the colder weather. Edible and medicinal roots swell and become nutritious and tasty, while truffles grow and become pungent and delicious!

All of our winter events involve a forage element, where you will learn to safely and sustainable identify wild foods and a feast element, where you will get the chance to taste some delicious wild foods! We hope to see you there.

“Fern is so lovely and friendly, and so so knowledgable not only about mushrooms but all kinds of wild food - from greens to berries and everything in between! Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about foraging. Plus the food was delicious!”

Friends Having Picnic

“Had an amazing day today with Fern! Was not only a great walk, but learned so much about mushrooms too! Her enthusiasm rubbed off on the kids too! We had some good finds, and a lovely lunch to top it all off! Will definitely book again!”
