We've put together some on the most frequently asked questions about Gather & Ground. If you can't find the answer to your question, please consult our Gather & Ground terms & conditions or contact us. 

  • Where and When?
    Our Foragers Escape Weekend will be held from the 4th - 7th April 2025. Arrival will be at 5pm on the Friday and departure will be 10am on Monday. Location: Campwell, Cherry Wood, Oakford Lane, Somerset, SN14 8FE. The best way to reach the site is either by car or train and taxi. The nearest train station is Bath Spa. From London Paddington the train takes just over 2 hours. The camp is 25 minutes away from Bath Spa station, so just jump in a taxi to us. We'll set up a group chat on Whatsapp so you can organise taxi shares.
  • Who's it for? Which Accommodation Should I book?
    Our foraging holidays are for anyone wanting a fun and educational experience in nature. People attend alone, as a couple or in groups of friends. Please note: If you're booking alone, you have the choice of: The Cob Hut For 1 (Shared); This is a little hut with 2 single beds. You will be in one of them, and you'll be paired with another guest (of the same gender) who has booked to come on their own. Yurt For 1 (Shared); This is a large yurt, with 4 single beds. You will be in one of them, and you'll be paired with three other guests (of the same gender) who have booked to come on their own. Treehouse Cabin For 1; This is a cabin in the woods, which you can book privately. You will not share this accommodation with anyone else. If you're booking as a couple, or a group of three you have the choice of: Treehouse Cabin Or Shephard's Hut For 2: These cabins and our shepherd's hut have one double bed that you will share. Perfect for a couple. Yurt For 2 or 3: Our yurts have 1 double bed and space for 1 single bed. Perfect for couples or for a group of 3 friends. Please note, if you're booking as a couple or a group of 3, your deposit payment will be made as one. You can then pay the remainder of your balance as a group or as individuals. We will consider dogs and children, please get in touch to chat about it!
  • What do I need to bring?
    We will email you a full list of items you'll need to bring closer to the time but to give you some ideas: Reusable water bottle - drinking water is available on site Walking boots Cosy clothing for the evenings Towel and toiletries Torch Sun screen and hat Note book Swimming stuff
  • What's included / not included in my ticket price?
    Your ticket includes all scheduled activities plus dinner on Friday, three meals a day Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast on Monday, plus drinks and snacks throughout the day. Travel to and from the site, holiday insurance and any additional activities or excursions you may choose to do in your free time are not included in your ticket price.
  • Can you cater for special dietary requirements?
    All of our food during the weekend will be plant-based. We are happy to cater to other dietary requirements but please let us know upon booking.
  • What are your payment terms / refund policies?
    Full payment will be taken to confirm your booking. If you would like to pay in instalments, please contact us. Cancellation by either us (the organisers) or the you (the guests), more than 60 days before the Event: Full refund.​ By you (the guests), fewer than 30 days before the Event: No refund.​ By us (the organisers), fewer than 30 days before the Event: Full refund.
