WILD PIZZA WORKSHOP
EVENT INFORMATION:
Our very popular wild pizza workshop is back! Come along with your little ones and experience the vibrancy of the wild ingredients we can find in Worthing in the best possible way - on freshly baked pizza!
Join us for a few hours of happy rambling, learning about edible, nutritious and medicinal plants that grow right on our doorstep. On our walk, we'll discover edible spring greens, herbs for flavouring and for medicinal teas, wildflowers and maybe even some mushrooms! I'll also be introducing some poisonous plants, showing how to identify them to make your future foraging experiences safer (This is really great to learn for outdoorsy little ones!).
At the end of our walk, we'll be creating our very own WILD PIZZAS! With toppings such as wild garlic pesto, dandelion capers, garlic nettles and a range of fresh wild herbs, these pizzas will be fresh, delicious and packed with nutrients! Vegan options will be available. Unfortunately, I can't offer gluten-free options for this event.
BOOKINGS:
Children are more than welcome to come along and enjoy the day! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

The walk will be slow-paced, but uphill in areas, over fields, and through woodland. Please wear weather appropriate clothes, sturdy shoes and feel free to bring a little basket to gather a few samples, and a notebook or camera to help you remember all the information!

The location and details of where to meet will be emailed to you upon payment. The location will be no more than a 30-minute drive outside of the Worthing area and lift-share from Worthing may be available.

This event begins at 11am and will finish at roughly 2.20pm.
