- 90 British pounds£90
- Secret Location Near Worthing
2023 Sessions: Saturday 1st July @ 10am - 1.30pm Saturday 1st July @ 2.30pm - 6pm 🌿 In this workshop, we'll be wandering over the South Downs, learning how to safely identify and forage wild medicines! Then, we'll be turning them into salves, tinctures and teas for you to take home and heal! 🌿 On our foraging walk, we’ll meet a range of medicinal wild plants like herbs, roots and berries. We'll learn about their medicinal uses throughout the ages and touch on ancient folklore too. We'll focus on their healing properties and how they might be used in modern herbalism. We'll also meet some toxic lookalikes you'll definitely want to avoid to help make your future foraging journeys safer! Then, we’ll meet our expert medicinal herbalist Margaret at our outdoor herb kicthen, to make our very own salves, balms and herbal teas! Margaret will guide you through the journey of extracting the potent medicine of the wild plants we gather and give you plenty of advice on how to make your own wild medicines at home. All the equipment, ingredients and jars you’ll need will be supplied. Please bring a little basket or box so you can harvest your own wild plants to use in your wild medicines. Can't wait to see you there! 🌸 FUTHER EVENT INFORMATION Forage & Ferment Workshop | £90 per person. Workshop Location: This workshop will be held at Wild Heart Hill Campsite, in Findon, West Sussex.
