Online Workshop: Forage & Ferment | £40 per device. Workshop Date: Saturday 6th March 10-11.30am & Sunday 7th March 2-3.30pm This 'workshop' is actually two workshops spread across one weekend, with a little bit of time in between to go and forage for your own wild ingredients! The first will be a guided foraging workshop held on Saturday 6th March from 10-11.30am. It will include an introduction to foraging, covering the basic like safety, sustainability and the law. You'll then meet a range of wild plants that can all be used in a range of ferments (as well as some toxic plants you'll definitely want to avoid)! There will also be a live Q&A so you can ask any questions you might have about how to forage for these wonderful plants before your second cook-along workshop. The second workshop will be held on Sunday 7th March from 2-3.30pm. In this workshop you'll be cooking along with the lovely Emma from Wild Pickle, learning how to make wild sauerkraut - the perfect beginner-friendly ferment! Before your workshops, you’ll receive a PDF booklet containing all of the topics that will be covered in class, including your wild pickle recipes and ingredients list. This is to help you reach complete confidence in harvesting the wild foods and fermenting them into something wonderful in your own time! Please note that if you cannot attend one or both classes for whatever reason, a recording of the sessions will be sent to you so you can participate at your leisure.
If you cannot attend your booking, we request at least 3 days prior notice in order to give you a full refund or to reschedule you onto another workshop. For online workshops, refunds are not available. If you cannot attend the live zoom class, a recording will be sent to you.
