EVENT INFORMATION
2022 Sessions: Saturday 13th August @ 8am -11 am - FULLY BOOKED Sunday 14th August @ 8am -11 am - FULLY BOOKED Event Details: This workshop is all about learning how to safely and sustainably forage for a range of seaweeds and sea vegetables, herbs and spices! We’ll start the day with a welcoming circle, to get to know each other and talk through the basics of coastal foraging. Then we’ll head off on a guided tour of edible, interesting and nutritious seaweeds and sea veg. We’ll collect what we need and then we'll sample some delightful foods made from our foraged finds! As always, this day is focused around safe and sustainable foraging, with the aim of bringing you joy, bringing you closer to your land and your community. This is an adult-only workshop and limited to 12 places. The walk will be, in part, over rockpools and across slippery rocks so is best suited to confident and able walkers. Please dress for the weather and bring a little pot or basket to collect your own samples! Please note we are happy to cater for Vegan diets, however we are unable to cater for Gluten free/ Coeliac diets on this public workshop. Full information, including location will be emailed to you 1 week before the event. For any further information, please do contact us. Or see our FAQ's page. **Please note our coastal workshops are heavily reliant on tide times. The exact date/time may change but will take place on a Saturday within the same month.
